United Way of Benton & Franklin Counties is pleased to bring Volunteer Tri-Cities, a free, mobile-friendly, community-wide volunteer platform that connects people with the causes they care about, to our community.
There are many ways for people to help other, even during these times of social distancing, including:
- “Virtual volunteers” who help remotely with projects such as website design, donation coordination, marketing or social media strategies, phone banks to reach out to seniors, etc.;
- Direct volunteering that can be conducted while still maintaining physical distancing, such as delivering food and supplies; and
- Donation collection drives for needed supplies and products
It’s free to sign up. Local nonprofit agencies can register and add opportunities for people to volunteer or donate products. Instructions for registering an agency and adding opportunities.
Individuals, families, and businesses can sign up and explore the many ways to get involved. Create an account and search for volunteer opportunities.
Volunteer Tri-Cities makes it easy to find opportunities to help from your phone or tablet.
Our local United Way partners with Bechtel and Amentum to provide this new bi-county resource.
