OUR COMMITMENT TO OUR DONORS

We will not sell, share, or trade our donors' names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.

This policy applies to all information received by United Way of Benton & Franklin Counties, both online and offline, on any Platform ("Platform", includes our United Way website and mobile applications), as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications.

To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.

 

INFORMATION COLLECTION

Contact information

When you donate online, we will ask for your full name and e-mail address.

Payment information

When you donate online via credit card, we will require your full name, credit card number, and other billing information. This information allows us to process and fulfill your donation and notify you of your donation status in a timely manner.

IP address

An IP address is a number assigned to your computer automatically when you use the Internet. We may collect your IP address when you visit this website. At no time is your IP address linked to personal information that identifies you as the owner.

Usage tracking

UWBFC tracks website user traffic patterns with Google Analytics. This information is not associated with individual users and is intended only for the purpose of website enhancement.

The use of SSL encryption is applied to all online financial transactions.

UWBFC does not transmit or store any credit card or banking information. When you donate by credit card or automatic bank withdrawal, your payment information is handled by CyberSource, a leading provider of payment services to hundreds of thousands of businesses around the world. CyberSource and its integration with UWBFC is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS).
