2026 Diaper Drive

2026 Diaper Drive

Diapers are essential, and also required to be provided for childcare services — but they are not covered by food assistance programs, and too many local families struggle to afford enough to keep their babies healthy and comfortable.

There are 21,000 kids under age 5 in our two counties with at least 41% of families struggling financially, the average monthly cost of diapers is $100, making them nearly impossible for a lot of families to afford.

Your donations help meet the need right here in Benton & Franklin counties and supports healthy beginnings.

Every box — big or small — helps parents focus on their families, work, school, and building a stronger future. Thank you for showing up for our littlest neighbors and helping United Way improve lives across our community.

April 20 through May 1, you can drop off unopened packages of children's disposable diapers and wipes at the following locations during each location's business hours:

  • City of Kennewick City Hall
  • City of Pasco (Utility Counter, Parks & Recreation, and Permitting)
  • City of Richland (City Hall, Recreation Center, Richland Public Library)
  • City of West Richland
  • United Way of Benton & Franklin Counties
